I was very disappointed with the support bars. While they do serve it's purpose one of them came slightly twisted so once it's bolted to the rig you can no longer adjust the wheelbase tray. This adjustability was one of the reasons I ordered the support bars and didn't engineer a solution myself. It did improve the flex to some extent but since one of the bars came twisted I can no longer adjust it's height with the knobs since it is stuck. Can you do something about it? Maybe send a replacement? Only one needed.

The braces were easy to install and there haven't been any problems with DD wheel. Rising and lovering the wheel deck is slightly stiff but it might be because how hard i bolted it tight.

I got the bars so that the aluminum deck would not move so much. Ultimately, it was causing my microphone to bounce a lot, which was distracting. The deck is definitely stronger, though not completely shake free. If I upgrade to a DD wheel, I'll appreciate the extra strength. I also moved my monitor to be mounted off of the deck, so I think that helped rigidity too. The bars did interfere with my swing out mouse pad surface and I had to reconfigure my dash/button box/mouse arm setup completely. It was a pain but it's mostly better now. I could have mounted just one support as an option and it would have alleviated all that work, at the expense of strength.
I recently purchased the ART cockpit support bars. I’ve had my art cockpit for about a year, and I’ve been mostly satisfied aside from the wheel, wobble and flex… Once I installed the support bars, I have seen a significant reduction in the flex & wobble movement . Using my Logitech, G Pro DD wheel at 8.5 Nm there is now little to no movement while racing. This does not remove 100% of the movement, but the tiny amount is hardly noticeable. In my opinion the support bars are a worthy addition to the art cockpit especially when paired with a higher powered direct drive wheel.
Great Product as is the Norm ith GT Omega. The ART Cockpit was very solid to begin with, but adding these supports finish it off and it is absolutly Rock Solid
It's a smart and easy solution to af more stability to the rig without having to drill anny holes yourself to ad support
The support bars for the ART are great. They totally stop the minor amount of movement on the wheel stand. You could easily buy some metal at Home Depot and put it on for cheaper, but they wouldn’t be adjustable like these are. You can still easily adjust these if someone else is going to sit on it and there’s no drilling or cutting. I think they should sell these bars with the ART cockpit in the first place by the way.

Great upgrade to a good rig. Would highly recommend to anyone with a DD wheel. This takes quite a substantial amount of flex out of the unit. Very please with this.

Excellent product! Wasn't sure if it would make that much difference on the ART to be honest but I was seriously wrong. Can feel a lot more of the FFB due to nearly zero flex. Very happy with my purchase

On one hand it's sad that the cockpit needs reinforcement bars but on the other hand it's an affordable cockpit that does everything I've hoped for, so I can't really complain.

The ART is an older model, it does its job great but the wheel bases people used when it was a newer model were nowhere near as powerful so we had to add something to help people reinforce their trusty rigs. That being said we may have some revisions for this model in the future...Keep your eyes peeled
Would highly recommend if your using a direct drive wheel base it definitely improves the strength of the art
Perfect Fit
Excellent fit, I was not expecting a big increase in rigidity, but its fantastic. Improved the rig massively, im only running a logitech g923 at the minute and preparing rig for fanatec dd but the improvement in feedback just in the logitech wheel alone feels great, I can't wait to see how the csl dd gets on. Highly recommended addition to the gt omega art rig.
