While the Rig and Frame are absolutely solid, the only downside I have with this Prime set is with the seat, it’s off centre and I’ve had to make the wheelbase frame a weird angle to adhere to my liking.
I still love this rig, and I hope this don’t discourage anyone from wanting the Prime Frame or any other accessories!

It's great! Very sturdy and easily adjustable. You also can have the handbrake in the "pull upwards" style!! (not many photos of that style for this cockpit, but mine is included)
Notes to potential buyers
1. If you are planning on using the wheeldeck as a table, that probably won't work unless you keep the wheel flat (which isn't a natural position)
2. It's somewhat difficult to assemble. (GTomega went paperless, so almost no valuable instructions... Watch the Sim Racing Garage video on assembly...shoutout to Barry)
3. I'm 6'4 (193cm I think) and the steering wheel feels just about right for me with my bucket seat fully towards the inside of the brackets (Could possibly be an issue for shorter people, or they might want to assemble in a slightly different way to fix it)
^^ It could probably/definitely be assembled with the "seat box" more forward to accommodate shorter drivers, but many show it fully to the rear of the cockpit.

The rig itself is an absolute tank, it’s fantastic. After a lot of research there isn’t a better value for money option at this level of cockpit. While competitively priced, rival companies tend to offer items included in the PRIME, such as the shifter/handbrake plate, as an add on that’s going to run you another £100, and the inclusion of this was a swaying factor for me. The assembly of the rig itself was pretty straightforward. Overall the only constructive criticism I really have is that as a brand I think you’d really benefit in investing more into updated assembly guides/videos and the instructions on the website to be refined, but generally I’m incredibly happy with the purchase, and you guys undoubtedly have gained a customer for life!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute Game Changer – A Must for RHD Cockpits!
If you are running a Right-Hand Drive (RHD) cockpit layout here in the UK and have your rig tucked up tightly against a wall on the right side, the standard shifter mount configuration on the GT Omega Prime can be a massive pain for egress. It sticks out way too far, turns into a proper shin-breaker, and leaves you awkwardly dodging the frame every time you try to get in or out of the bucket seat.
Instead of living with a sub-par layout, I took the heavy-duty PRIME 4080 double-profile bar and completely re-engineered the lower support geometry to fully customize it for my space.
🛠️ The Modifications:
Relocated Support Structure: I moved the main vertical upright further back under the seat line and used the single profile bar as a secondary stabilizer. This structurally cleared out the entire front corner, giving my legs absolute free rein to get in and out of the cockpit without losing an ounce of rigidity.
Custom Custom-Drilled Bridge Plate: I fabricated a bespoke mounting plate to bridge my Moza H-Shifter and handbrake seamlessly onto a single, compact unit. They now sit perfectly parallel right where my hand naturally drops off the wheel, completely replacing the old, awkward configuration where they were miles apart.
Zero-Flex Box Section: By using heavy-duty gusset brackets underneath the horizontal section, it creates a rigid box structure. This mount is now an absolute tank—it will easily handle massive 21Nm direct-drive forces down the line without a single millimetre of flex when ripping the sequential or yanking the handbrake mid-drift.
📐 The Verdict:
If you have a bit of DIY engineering spirit, the modular nature of the aluminium profile means you can adapt this rig to fit any awkward room space. Best of all? With a bit of precision planning, I managed to keep the official PRIME logo sitting perfectly level and right-side up. It looks 100% factory-built, saves massive floor space, and functions flawlessly.
If you're tight on space or running an RHD setup, don't be afraid to chop and change the frame to make it work for you!

Firstly, after sale from GTOmega is there and helpfull. Some parts of my ring was damaged. There was no problem to have new parts. It was lost time to mount the ring but that could happens with logistic.
Secondly, not easy for me to mount my first aluminium ring with some options but I am really happy of the results. It is pleasure to drive in cockpit instead of chair with wheel fixed on desk.

The GT Omega Prime cockpit is an impressive piece of hardware. Build quality is excellent, the frame feels solid, stable, and engineered to handle high force feedback without flexing. Despite its robust construction, assembly is surprisingly easy, with the parts fitting together neatly. Another major advantage is the wide range of adjustment options, making it easy to tailor the rig to your preferred driving position. GT Omega also includes plenty of extra screws and brackets, which is great if you want to expand your setup later with additional accessories or custom mounts.
There are, however, a couple of downsides. My unit didn’t come with a clear or up to date assembly manual, which made certain steps more time-consuming than they needed to be. Additionally, the plastic covers for the seat(XL RS Seat V2) cannot be installed if you’re using the side support brackets, which feels like an oversight in the design.

I rebuild the base twice because i needed to add a t-slot somewhere. which wasnt really easy to see from the instructions. that is something i would advise on changing and making it easier to understand.

Rig assembled and in use less than a week after ordering. Very impressed with the way it was packed although the assembly instructions required much common sense to understand but I got there in the end. I had to cut about a quarter of an inch off the short end of an Allen Key to enable me to attach the seat to the rig but all went well after that

This rig is a beast! It is real solid and it handles my equipment with ease.
The instructions are a little out of date as some of the parts have changed, but it is simple enough to work out what goes where.
Everything fitted easily and apart from the seat it was very easy to put together. The seat needed a little patience and dexterity to get some bolts into it - but that's because I didn't buy a side mounted seat.
Really happy with the rig. I can't see me ever needing to upgrade it!

The build was very easy, the instructions were clear and the rig is very rigid. All in all I’m very happy. No missing parts and lots of extra bits of hardware which is nice to see rather than skimping. My only issue is the newly improved pedal plate. It’s massive and very rigid which is great but it horribly uncomfortable using the stock seating arrangement. I had to flip the pedal plate upside down compared to the instructions otherwise I had to hold my feet uncomfortably high with a standard seat position with no option for tilt. I think the pedal plate has been designed for the optional adjustable seat mount (which I intend to get later) but isn’t very comfortable if the seat can’t tilt back.

I am very pleased. The whole cockpit is of very good quality. The seat too. The only downside was the trouble at customs. It took almost 4 weeks to sort out the formalities. GT Omega customer service works very efficiently. Special thanks to James. In the future, I would suggest attaching all the necessary documents for customs clearance to the shelves. Despite almost 4 weeks of waiting, I am 100% satisfied!!!
